Content Marketing Director

We are seeking an experienced Content Marketing Director to lead our content creation and strategy efforts. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of financial topics and be able to develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that align with business objectives.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire a team of writers and editors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all content creation, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and compliance, and collaborating with other marketing teams to create compelling advertising copy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies across the complete customer lifecycle that aligns with business objectives and enhances the company's brand perception.
- Lead the creation of editorial finance content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and compliance.
- Collaborate with other marketing teams to create compelling advertising copy that drives customer acquisition and engagement.
- Oversee UX copywriting efforts, ensuring that all digital interfaces offer a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Use analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of content across different platforms.
- Leverage AI to increase productivity and quality.
- Regularly review content performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize content strategy.
- Report on content performance, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team of content managers, editors, and copywriters.
- Establish state-of-the-art workflows, taking benefit of AI.
- Provide ongoing mentorship and professional development opportunities to help team members grow their skills.
- Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, encouraging innovation and the sharing of ideas.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in content creation, with a significant focus on editorial finance content.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies in a digital corporate or agency environment.
- Experience leading and developing a team of content professionals.
- Strong understanding of financial products, services, and regulations.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), SEO, and analytics tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and advanced skills in stakeholder management.
- Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- An estimated annual salary of €120,000 - €150,000, depending on experience.
