Position Summary:

Harman International is seeking a talented Acoustic Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and tuning automotive audio systems, developing and documenting technical requirements, and providing technical support and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop innovative audio systems for automotive applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of audio systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and requirements.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for audio systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in audio technology.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Acoustics, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in acoustics or automotive audio system design.
  • Proficient in audio design tools and software.
  • Basic knowledge of loudspeaker design.
  • Familiarity with acoustical engineering, transducer engineering, digital signal processing, amplifier engineering, physical/psycho-acoustics, or recording arts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
  • Effective communication and project management capabilities.
