About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Water Resources Infrastructure team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading international projects related to water resource management, irrigation, and water transfer. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing solutions that meet the needs of our clients and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead in the preparation of master plans, feasibility studies, and tender documents
  • Prepare proposals and support contract negotiations
  • Manage internal and freelance staff
  • Ensure budget responsibility
  • Travel as required

Requirements

  • Civil Engineer (Dr. Ing./Dipl. Ing. or MSc TH/University) with expertise in hydraulics, hydrology, or water resources management
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience, with several years of experience in long-term assignments overseas
  • Proven expertise in various core topics, including hydraulics, hydrology, water resources, agronomy, soils, irrigation planning, and interdisciplinary competence
  • Experience in studies, planning, and construction management and supervision
  • Experience in project management and contract negotiations, ideally in international donor-financed projects
  • Business fluency in English, with further language skills an advantage (preferably German, French)
