Project Lead

The Project Manager will be the main contact and stakeholder for PAION projects to the management and leadership team. This role is responsible for transparent and up-to-date communication of project progress and ensuring projects are conducted in line with the company's strategy, timelines, and budget.
Key Responsibilities- Head the project team consisting of subject matter experts assigned to the project team by department heads.
- Organise and structure project team interactions.
- Conduct regular project team meetings and draft minutes.
- Responsible for creating overall project documentation, including project plans, action lists, and management reports.
- Follow up with SMEs on project-related tasks.
- Responsible for filing all project-related documents.
- Prepare and present regular project updates to the management and leadership team, ensuring transparency on project status, timelines, and budget.
- Prepare and present decision documents to facilitate project-related decision-making.
- Facilitate communication between the project team and management and leadership team.
- Interact with PAION's licensees and/or vendors on project-related topics as necessary.
- Graduate in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medicine, Chemistry, or Life Sciences.
- At least 3 years of practical industrial experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a PM leading role.
- Understanding of QA requirements and experience working/using a Quality Management System.
- Strong knowledge of project management tools and practices.
- Excellent communication and team building skills.
- Experience working in a virtual company setting largely based on external vendors.
- Knowledge of GMP and GCP.
- Language skills: German and English.
