Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager Large CapEx Projects to join our Group Engineering Organization (GEO) in Hamburg. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the efficient and successful realization of large-scale, high-complexity CapEx projects and related workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the project team and take full responsibility for the business case, commercial, and technical aspects of the project.
  • Ensure safe delivery of project objectives within budget and schedule.
  • Coordinate and monitor the project team, achieving project objectives such as legal, health & safety, sustainability, environment, quality, time schedule, and budget.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders, including project sponsors and Steering Committees.
  • Develop and motivate project team members, ensuring their professional and personal growth.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in industrial, mechanical, or process engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leading complex process engineering projects (project volume > 40M€).
  • Strong project management skills and ability to build, motivate, and lead project teams.
  • Excellent language skills in German and English (C level).
  • Ability to travel, including partial international deployment to project locations in Europe and North America.
