Leipzig Plant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Manager to join our team at the Leipzig plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our EDI, JIT/JIS, and MES production systems, as well as the availability of our IT systems and communication facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the availability and integrity of our IT systems and data
  • Manage the technical aspects of our IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and security
  • Lead the IT team and ensure the successful implementation of new applications and infrastructures
  • Manage IT service contracts and relationships with external suppliers
  • Prepare and monitor the site-specific IT budget
  • Participate in regular plant management meetings and collaborate with the central IT organization

Requirements

  • Completed degree in business information technology or a comparable specialist training
  • Several years of professional experience in IT, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Initial experience with management tasks
  • Strong knowledge of IT system requirements, including network, security, data protection, and interface technology
  • Good project management skills
  • Excellent communication and motivation skills
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
