Responsibilities:
- Design: You have the opportunity to introduce current technologies at LBBW, stay up-to-date, and actively shape our digital future.
- Accountability: As a (Junior) Cloud Platform Engineer, you are responsible for the conception and further development of the SKYWALKER platform, a highly automated (IaC) runtime environment for our application landscape based on Microsoft Azure.
- Collaboration: In the conception and further development of the platform, you work as part of our Cloud Center of Excellence cross-functionally with other IT disciplines (e.g. IT architecture, compliance, or IT security).
- Consulting: You advise the IT application development and departments on technological issues in the context of the IT basic infrastructure (e.g. optimal sustainable and secure integration into the existing IT system landscape).
Personality:
- Know-how: You have (first) knowledge and experience in the field of Azure Core Services with a focus on runtime components (AKS, AVM, ACI, Managed DBs) as well as (first) experience with Terraform and the corresponding Azure provider. (First) knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) rounds off your profile. Ideally, you also have (first) knowledge of Azure DevOps.
- Competence: You bring knowledge of modern software development (CI/CD, GitFlow) and (first) experience with agile working methods (Scrum/LeSS or comparable). Ideally, you have experience in the field of Linux system administration or networking.
- Drive: You are a change driver and are passionate about further developing digital communication, the tech stack, and collaboration in LBBW.
- Self-motivation: You work independently, self-responsibly, and customer-centric. In addition, you are willing to acquire missing knowledge in the field of IT infrastructure in due time - of course, with our support.
