About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team at Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation. As a key member of our cloud engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-native architectures using Kubernetes and other cloud platforms.
  • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure, including container orchestration, storage, and networking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflows and knowledge transfer.
  • Contribute to the development of self-service tools and APIs for resource management.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, cloud-native strategies, and ML-related infrastructure requirements.
  • Experience in developing open-source software and contributions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and ability to succeed in ever-evolving environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.) and their ML offerings.
