About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Solutions Analyst to join our team at TUI. As a Business Solutions Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering software solutions for airline operations systems from conception to operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate solution options and collaborate with stakeholders to define and articulate business needs.
  • Use your deep understanding of TUI products and systems to plan and deliver high-quality business analysis.
  • Define and document new business, user, and system requirements, considering impacts to upstream/downstream services.
  • Manage the requirement lifecycle from planning through to elicitation, testing, delivery, and business acceptance.
  • Provide business analysis to multiple agile delivery teams and work closely with the product owner, technology lead, and business partners to prioritize and manage complex backlogs.
  • Support the software operation/management as 2nd-level support, including incident analysis, incident management, and handling of configuration requests.
  • Keep documentation of applications in your area of responsibility up to date.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in IT-system design and requirements management, preferably in airline or tourism sectors.
  • Proficiency in agile development methods and project management.
  • Strong analytical skills for comprehending and communicating complex problems to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in creating, analyzing, and validating detailed functional specifications and system design elements.
  • Skilled in requirements elicitation techniques such as BPM, UML, test/use cases, and prototyping.
  • Software proficiency: MS Office, Jira, Confluence, and AWS cloud solutions.
  • Fluent in English, with advanced communication skills for interdisciplinary and international teamwork.
  • Strong negotiation skills with both external and internal partners.
  • Desirable is a Technical or business degree, or equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge in SQL queries, Java, web services, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing as well as understanding of IT architecture concepts; programming skills desirable.
