About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to join our team at Giesecke+Devrient. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving future solutions in banknote processing and steering projects to success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects from initial onboarding to completion, including requirements clarification, design, implementation, customer pilot testing, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with innovative teams, including product architects and program managers, to find solutions for technically challenging situations.
  • Gather feedback from customers and employees to improve our innovative solutions.
  • Interface with key customers and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Apply productive methods from lean, agile, or classical project management to introduce high-quality products to the market.
  • Work holistically, self-determined, and target-oriented to achieve sustainable success in automation and digitalization within our industry.

Requirements:

  • Technical or Business Administration studies.
  • Experience in developing mechatronic systems or software for mechatronic systems.
  • Several years of experience working as a Program Manager, System Engineer, Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or equivalent, with experience working with remote teams in an international development environment.
  • Project Management certifications, e.g. Prince 2, PMI, Scrum, Kanban, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of agile approaches such as LeSS, SAFe, and Kanban.
  • Motivation, creativity, and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to think and act strategically and analytically, while maintaining a customer-oriented approach.
  • Modulation skills and ability to assert yourself to lead teams in an international context and communicate efficiently with customers.
  • Full professional proficiency of German and English languages.
