Position Title: Gelato Experience Specialist and Shift Coordinator
Status: Flexible hours ranging from 10-40 hours weekly (your choice, including evenings and weekends)
Location: Old Port Store in Portland, Maine
Compensation: $20-22/hr plus tips
Are you passionate about gelato or coffee? Do you possess a friendly demeanor? Are you enthusiastic about engaging with customers and surpassing their expectations? If so, this role may be for you. We are looking for dedicated service team members to provide gelato samples and suggestions, serve dishes, set up and dismantle gelato displays, maintain cleanliness, and, most importantly, enhance our customers' experiences.
This role primarily focuses on gelato service while also involving communication with the general manager and a commitment to busy weekend shifts. Our peak times are during evenings and weekends, so most shifts will occur then. However, we can accommodate your preference for full-time or part-time work and adjust schedules for the right candidate. If you believe you could be a great fit but have concerns about balancing work with classes or other commitments, we encourage you to reach out for a discussion.
Minimum qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in customer service is preferred, but not mandatory. A strong desire to work diligently in a fast-paced environment and unwavering attention to customer needs are our top priorities.
