Your Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms for applications in natural language processing and computer vision.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis and preprocessing to ensure the integrity and quality of data used in model training.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art technologies in LLMs and computer vision to address challenges related to pricing strategies and product analytics.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers and backend developers to ensure seamless integration of models into production environments.
  • Provide guidance to frontend developers on effective visualization techniques for presenting analytical results.
  • Engage in model evaluation, validation, and continuous monitoring to maintain optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning, NLP, and computer vision, applying new insights to real-world business challenges.
  • Effectively communicate findings and insights to team members and stakeholders.
Your Profile:
  • Possess an advanced degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Have 2-4 years of professional experience in data science or data engineering roles.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine learning libraries, as well as data and machine learning pipelines. Knowledge of additional programming languages is advantageous.
  • Experience with NLP tools and libraries such as HuggingFace or SpaCy is preferred.
  • Showcase expertise in computer vision techniques and libraries, including OpenCV and YOLO.
  • Have a solid understanding of MLOps tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud and their machine learning services is beneficial.
  • Previous experience applying LLM and computer vision technologies in a retail context is a significant advantage.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Possess a continuous learning mindset and a drive for personal improvement.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is a plus.
