Deine Rolle

Als Senior Data Engineer bei Schwarz Media wirst du Teil eines crossfunktionalen Teams sein, das die Data Platform unseres Retail Media Netzwerkes für Lidl und Kaufland entwickelt und betreibt.

Deine Aufgaben
  • Als Generalist arbeitest du auf unserem Stack aus primär Azure DevOps, Snowflake, dbt und transformierst Daten aus unseren Touchpoints und Ad-Tech Systemen, um Customer Insights und Product Insights Fragestellungen zu analysieren.
  • Du bist Coach und Enabler für das Team, insbesondere in Themen wie CI/CD, gitops, Datenmodellierung, Data Lineage, Dokumentation und automatisierte Tests.
  • Unsere Data Platform ist operativer Teil unserer Retail Media Platform und stellt Massendaten, Stammdaten und Assets wie Taxonomien und Audiences bereit. Du wirst Experte für diese Domain und unterstützt mit deinem Fachwissen die Produktentwicklung in unterschiedlichen digitalen Touchpoints.
  • Zukünftig unterstützt du bei der Integration von Echtzeit-Eventdaten einerseits und batchbasierten AI Datenprodukten andererseits.
  • Als Teil der Schwarz Gruppe arbeitest du mit weiteren Spezialisten bei ETL, Deployment und Betrieb zusammen. Du agierst als Hauptansprechpartner, definierst unsere Anforderungen und diskutierst Architekturentscheidungen auf Augenhöhe.
Dein Profil
  • Du bringst 5+ Jahre relevante Berufserfahrung mit, z.B. als Data Analyst, Data Engineer oder Data Scientist. Erste Führungserfahrung in einem agilen Umfeld ist ein Plus.
  • Du bist Experte im Umgang mit Data Warehouse Systemen (z.B. Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift), ihrer Architektur und analytischer SQL-Queries. Du kennst Ideen von Modern Data Stack, Data Mesh und gitops und hast idealerweise schon Erfahrung mit dbt. Du kennst mindestens eine Programmiersprache, bestenfalls Python.
  • Weitere nice-to-have Skills sind Erfahrung im Einsatz von Technologien wie Google Pub/Sub, Databricks und Spark.
  • Neben deinen technischen Skills hast Du ein gutes Prozessverständnis und nutzt Daten, um Fragenstellungen unseres Geschäfts analytisch zu beantworten, ein Background als Data Analyst und die Nutzung von BI Frontends ist ein Plus (z.B. Tableau, PowerBI).
  • Du sprichst fließend Englisch und Deutsch.
  • Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik, einem weiteren MINT-Fach oder einer verwandten Disziplin.
