About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Debt Advisory Executive to join our team at Banking Consult Executive Search. As a key member of our corporate finance advisory team, you will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, preparing pitches, and sourcing financing mandates from private equity firms, corporates, family offices, and entrepreneurs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute bespoke LBO- and acquisition financing mandates with exposure to various industries.
  • Advise clients on complex and individual financing solutions and liaise with debt providers, lawyers, and due diligence providers.
  • Conduct and monitor credit analysis, business forecasts, and scenario analysis, financial covenants sensitivities, financial modeling, and manage Q&A sessions.
  • Negotiate loan documentation, term sheets, and commitment letters and manage the financing process until closing.
  • Manage project work streams and material preparations independently.
  • Support, manage, and train junior team members throughout the transaction process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top university. Additional qualifications such as CFA, ACA, or MBA are helpful but not a prerequisite.
  • 5-7 years of experience in corporate finance advisory or investment banking with an international investment bank, another boutique advisory firm, or in audit, preferably with one of the Big 4 audit firms.
  • Strong academic background and excellent knowledge in financial modeling and accounting (HGB, IFRS) as well as a network within the financial community.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills (verbal and written) with a self-starter mentality and the ability to get things done, and the confidence to drive various work streams on projects.
  • Willingness to support the team with a desire to grow and to develop the business in a performance-driven environment.
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
