In the role of Actuary (f/m/d), you will enhance our actuarial team by applying your expertise in data-centric problem-solving and actuarial science. Your extensive experience will enable you to devise and deliver innovative, high-caliber solutions tailored for diverse markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilizing your insights and proficiency in the health insurance sector, you will analyze client and claims data, subjective influences, cost trends, and medical risk variables.
  • You will design and refine pricing prediction models for both domestic and international health offerings.
  • Your role will involve evaluating and selecting the most suitable statistical models to address specific data challenges, including their execution.
  • You will engage with management and project collaborators to explore actuarial matters that extend beyond traditional solutions, fostering innovative strategies.
  • Collaboration with actuaries from various Allianz entities worldwide on their product lines will be part of your responsibilities.
  • You will contribute to the development of global product guidelines and facilitate the transition towards a cohesive product design framework across Allianz.

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • A completed university degree in (business) mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Completion of or advanced training as an actuary (DAV) or recognition from another actuarial association acknowledged by the International Actuarial Association (IAA).
  • Extensive experience as an actuary, preferably within health insurance, property insurance, or reinsurance sectors.
  • Proficient in data analysis, modeling, and programming, with knowledge of R or Python and SQL considered advantageous.
  • Experience managing responsibilities in cross-functional projects, coupled with strong analytical and conceptual abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English, with the capability to engage effectively.
