Technical Application Specialist

We are looking for a skilled professional who will ensure their customer's success with one of Fluke Reliability System's powerful iconic brands; PRUFTECHNIK. PRUFTECHNIK offers production reliability and non-destructive testing tools, services, and training. As an NDT Service Engineer, you will be responsible for equipment service work, warehousing confirmation, pre-shipment inspection, on-site inspection, and repairs.
Key Responsibilities- Perform field service data collection, routing, and reporting.
- Primarily performs incoming inspection, shipment setup, on-site installation, and training for eddy current flaw detectors.
- Perform on-site troubleshooting and repair of eddy current flaw detectors.
- Perform factory setup, on-site installation, and training for flux leakage testing equipment.
- Provide pre-service technical support, product education, and after-sales support services.
- Service the machine as necessary.
- Selection and installation of localized equipment.
- Have an engineering degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Good oral and written English & German proficiency.
- A positive attitude towards problem solving and tight deadlines.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to respond to urgent domestic and international travel needs.
- Familiarity with Windows PC hardware and software.
- Need to work overtime in service work as required.
- in possession of a driver's license.
- Have basic networking knowledge.
- Ability to read electric circuit diagrams and drawings.
- Ability to design electrical schematics is a plus.
