About the Role:
We are excited to present an opportunity for a Senior Director of Software Engineering at The Female Factor. This pivotal role will oversee the Transactions division, dedicated to optimizing the checkout and order placement processes across various business sectors.

Key ResponsibilitiesYour Objectives:
- Guide and nurture Senior Engineering Managers to enhance their leadership capabilities.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of business workflows and contribute to the strategic planning for core teams focused on checkout and order placement.
- Design and ensure the scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance of the systems under your leadership.
- Uphold the highest standards of quality and equity in team performance evaluations.
- Lead the execution of quarterly and long-term objectives, taking full ownership of the OKRs.
- Collaborate with product counterparts to shape the tribe's long-term vision (3+ years).
- Promote best engineering practices, advocating for strategic investments in engineering efforts that yield significant impact.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience with complex distributed systems.
- Track record of managing Senior Engineering Managers and multiple teams.
- Experience overseeing high-complexity, high-traffic projects or applications.
- Ability to adapt to diverse engineering cultures to drive effective solutions.
- Interest in fostering continuous deployment, agile methodologies, cloud systems, and experimentation.
- Passion for cultivating a positive engineering culture within a growing team.
