Job Title: Structural Engineer for Bridge and Construction Projects

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and work on planning projects in bridge and structural engineering independently, utilizing expertise in civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Manage projects through all phases of the HOAI (object and structural planning phases 1-7), ensuring timely and quality performance.
  • Develop innovative, functional, and sustainable solutions for bridge and construction projects, leveraging knowledge of engineering structures and regulations.
  • Take on technical and commercial project responsibilities, collaborating with clients, authorities, specialist planners, and employees to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

  • Completed degree in civil engineering, with a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, and engineering principles.
  • Several years of professional experience in object and structural planning of engineering structures, with a focus on bridge and construction projects.
  • Understanding of economics, creativity, and ideas, with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions.
  • Experience with relevant regulations and laws (e.g. VOB, ZTV-ING, Ril), with a strong understanding of their application in bridge and construction projects.
  • Experience with BIM is advantageous but not required, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • High degree of independence, commitment, and flexibility, with strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as social competence.
  • Fluent in German, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
