Position Overview:

The Head of ESG - Risk, Compliance, and Sustainability Management will play a crucial role in the international SICK procurement and production network, contributing to the formulation of business strategies and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within the global SICK procurement and production framework to enhance business strategies and processes.
  • Drive the continuous improvement and optimization of the procurement and production network, ensuring compliance with legal and customer standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
  • Engage closely with purchasing teams, legal advisors, and environmental management to align objectives.
  • Formulate and execute sustainability strategies for both external suppliers and internal operations, adhering to legal requirements.
  • Assume a strategic role in the procurement and production network to support the achievement of corporate objectives.

Candidate Profile:

  • A degree in industrial engineering, business administration, environmental management, or a related field.
  • Extensive professional experience, preferably in manufacturing, environmental, or procurement sectors.
  • Familiarity with SAP and initial management experience is advantageous.
  • Proficient in English, with strong communication skills.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to innovate and explore new avenues.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and work in a structured, goal-oriented manner.
  • Exceptional teamwork and negotiation skills, complemented by a confident demeanor.
