Job Description

Your Mission

As an Aircraft Design Engineer, you will be responsible for tracking the evolution of aircraft design, focusing on mass and center of gravity. Your goal will be to ensure that mass targets and performance requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve weight and balance tools.
  • Support the definition of aircraft preliminary architecture for new projects.
  • Perform and support weight control throughout aircraft development.
  • Estimate mass properties and perform bottom-up calculations.
  • Define and/or support weight and balance envelope definition.
  • Manage R&O (Request for Revision/Objection) regarding weight and balance.
  • Document W&B results for internal use and certification purposes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Weight and Balance, with good technical knowledge.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Aerospace.
  • Good knowledge of 3D CAD mechanical software such as Siemens NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks.
  • Basic knowledge of System Engineering and Requirements Engineering.
  • Good understanding of technical aspects related to aircraft systems and composite, and metallic structures.
