Job Title: Systems Engineer

Join Volocopter GmbH, a pioneering company in electric air taxis, as a Systems Engineer. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to develop and enhance processes and methods for aircraft development, particularly in systems engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and improvement of new methods and processes for aircraft development, focusing on systems engineering and aerospace standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop practical solutions for process development and improvement.
  • Guide and support senior management in process activities and prepare decisions.
  • Ensure consistency and completeness of systems engineering processes across departments and organization.
  • Develop training for engineers on processes and tools related to systems engineering.
  • Continuously analyze and improve processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in engineering, aerospace, or similar work experience.
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in Aerospace & Systems Engineering.
  • Solid experience with Requirements Based Engineering (RBE).
  • Proven experience in full lifecycle of a certified aircraft development program.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of aviation regulations and standards such as ARP4754A, ARP4761.
