- Oversee the creation and ongoing enhancement of insurance products.
- Utilize customer feedback, market research, and data analytics to identify new product opportunities and enhancements.
- Develop comprehensive roadmaps for both new and existing insurance products, ensuring successful implementation from concept to launch.
- Collaborate with all project stakeholders to clarify product requirements for business and technical execution.
- Serve as the insurance subject matter expert for the technical team, aiding in product configuration.
- Generate and maintain all necessary product documentation to facilitate the sales process.
- Continuously assess product performance, implement necessary adjustments, and pinpoint opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Experience: At least two years in a role focused on Insurance Product Development or three years in an insurance-related operational or consulting position.
- Understanding of Insurance: Solid grasp of the insurance sector, including products, workflows, regulations, underwriting standards, rating systems, actuarial concepts, and market trends.
- Data Analysis: Strong capability to analyze market data, customer insights, and product performance metrics to guide product strategy. Proficient in tools such as Excel, Tableau, and Looker for data analysis.
- Project Management: Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely and quality delivery. Familiarity with product management software like Jira and Asana.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in both German and English.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Leadership: Strong leadership abilities to inspire and guide cross-functional teams towards shared objectives.
- Problem-Solving: Aptitude for identifying and resolving challenges that may arise during product development and implementation.
