Job Summary
Renesas Electronics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Floor Manager to lead our Nabern ATE Lab team in providing best-in-class support for NPI development, qualification, and sample generation. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing test floor scheduling and activities, ensuring ATE equipment uptime meets company-level KPI and OEE targets, and providing technical and creative insight to solving tactical and strategic problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Nabern ATE Lab team in providing best-in-class support for NPI development, qualification, and sample generation.
- Manage test floor scheduling and activities to ensure efficient use of resources and meet production targets.
- Ensure ATE equipment uptime meets company-level KPI and OEE targets, and implement corrective actions to address any issues.
- Provide technical and creative insight to solving tactical and strategic problems, and drive technical innovation in the department.
- Guarantee quality and follow processes according to Renesas standards and specifications.
- Supervise and lead a team of engineers and technicians, delegating, coordinating, and scheduling activities of assigned team members.
- Develop and monitor pre-production work plans to ensure shipping requirements are met on time.
- Troubleshoot process problems and respond to management as needed.
- Drive technical innovation in the department and ensure that products are handled according to given instructions.
- Provide reports and feedback on results, issues to management, planning, test- and product engineering.
- Train and mentor other team members to ensure knowledge sharing and skill development.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical education.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in operating and troubleshooting complex production test setups.
- Supervisor experience contributing to a successful team environment.
- Excellent knowledge of production flows in the semiconductor or related electronics industry.
- Excellent planning and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work flexible working hours.
- Teamworking skills to work cooperatively and liaise with people at all levels.
- Good oral and written command of English, German is an advantage.
