Your Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast Central European short-term and forward power markets.
- Take responsibility for pan-European fundamental forward price modeling with a focus on Central Western Europe and related analytical tools and services.
- Conduct ad hoc market analyses, identify trends, market and regulatory developments, and contribute to cross-commodity price forecasting.
- Support operational trading and optimization, create new business ideas to support commercial success.
- Drive and manage further developments, improvements, and automation for power market analysis with emphasis on forward markets.
- Present and communicate results related to European Power markets to various stakeholders within Uniper.
Your Profile
- Excellent education in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or similar fields.
- Relevant experience in energy market analysis, fundamental power market modeling, and energy trading environments.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, data handling, PowerBI, and programming skills (Python, R, VBA, etc.) required.
- Strong orientation on results, commercial focus, and proactive attitude.
- Superior communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively work in an international and diverse environment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, under time pressure, and adapt to stakeholder requirements.
- Fluent English (written and spoken) required, knowledge of additional languages a plus.
