Job Overview:
Leadec is seeking a highly skilled Internal Control System Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the continuous optimization and further development of our internal control system (ICS) in terms of quality and integration of additional business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuous Improvement: Support the evaluation and analysis of control testings, including regular reporting to management, and analyze and risk-based assessment of existing and new control measures and their documentation.
- Process Redesign: Participate in the redesign, implementation, and further development of the group-wide ICS, advising and assisting control managers in conducting self-assessments and defining and developing control measures.
- Process Optimization: Identify process and system weaknesses of the ICS as well as optimization potentials in business processes, further develop the ICS and ICS reporting, and transform existing controls in the course of process adjustments and changes in systems.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as a contact person for external and internal stakeholders such as auditors, departments, and management regarding the ICS, conduct internal ICS training for relevant departments, and continuously maintain guidelines and manuals.
Requirements:
- Education: A successfully completed business studies or comparable qualification.
- Experience: Several years of professional experience in a similar position and in the areas of Internal Control System, auditing, internal audit, or compliance.
- Expertise: Knowledge of relevant frameworks and audit standards such as COSO or IDW EPS 982 is advantageous, experience in the continuous development and relevant process management of an ICS is desirable, and familiarity with modern ERP solutions.
- Languages: Fluency in both German and English.
- Personality: Excellent analytical, conceptual, and interdisciplinary skills, strong communication and assertiveness, quick comprehension and independent work, open and dynamic personality with high social competence and sense of responsibility.
