Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Broadcast Material Coordinator to join our team at Sky Deutschland GmbH.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage key account relationships with licensors and partner broadcasters, ensuring proactive and self-organized coordination and handling of broadcast material procurement and processing of complaints.
  • Coordinate the creation of all broadcast materials (linear and non-linear) with the internal technical department, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
  • Manage the coordination of material with dubbing studios and external service providers, maintaining and improving cooperation with surrounding teams.
  • Provide broadcast material for films and series across all Sky channels and non-linear platforms, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
  • Conduct self-organized research in the archive and proactive continuous workflow optimizations, taking care of self-sufficient coordination based on contracts with responsible departments regarding material delivery.
  • Support project coordination for channel launches, introduce new services and technologies, and actively support testing and monitoring new workflows from a content logistics perspective.
Requirements
  • Completed degree or commercial apprenticeship, with 4-6 years of professional experience in the film and television industry.
  • Proven experience in broadcast material coordination (linear and non-linear) and extended technical understanding, especially in file processing.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with commitment and reliability to work independently in a team.
  • Technical affinity for film and television, with in-depth technical understanding and project management support from an operational perspective.
  • Expertise in content management systems such as APIx or Content Explorer & ScheduAll, with proactive problem-solving and optimization of workflows.
  • Good English skills and very good written and spoken German skills.
