The Team:
The Business Partner division is dedicated to collaborating closely with Celonis Services and the senior leadership of the Ecosystem. This pivotal team operates in a high-visibility setting, directly engaging with executive leadership and playing a crucial role in shaping Celonis's strategic, operational, and financial goals. The objectives of the business partnering include:
- Assisting executive partners in realizing their operational and financial targets
- Delivering objective, data-driven insights that facilitate strategic decision-making
- Establishing KPI frameworks to assess business performance
- Enhancing the overall financial performance and success of Celonis
- Reporting to the VP of Strategy, Finance & Operations for the Global Ecosystem and Celonis Services

The Lead Business Partner for Ecosystem will play a vital role within a dynamic and highly effective global Business Finance & Operations Partners team. This position will contribute to establishing the business management framework and governance necessary to support business leaders in executing global strategic initiatives that drive growth for Celonis. This role will report directly to the VP of Strategy, Finance & Operations and will collaborate closely with global business leaders, particularly within the Global Ecosystem organization and the Partner Manager teams in our Regional Sales divisions.
- Analyze extensive data sets and present insights to senior leadership in finance and business partnerships
- Develop operational tools that facilitate the achievement of financial and strategic objectives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Value Engineering, Marketing, Services, Finance, and Systems teams
- Propel the automation of business assets and enhance business processes to ensure effective operations aimed at serving our partners and their prospects and customers
Responsibilities:
- Provide business partnership support for our global Ecosystem organization and Celonis' Executive Team—cultivating trusted relationships with key business partners, delivering objective, data-driven insights that aid in strategic decision-making, and offering insightful recommendations based on commercial acumen
- Manage execution, communicate business performance, and forecast future projections to business leaders and executive management
- Offer guidance to senior business leaders through actionable insights for effective business execution and performance improvement tracking
- Generate and present business insights—analyzing results, identifying key trends, assessing business risks, and conveying critical messages to senior leadership
- Construct and implement global models, decision scenarios, and operational processes, including short- and mid-term business execution plans and annual operating plans
- Facilitate comprehensive business planning, seamless execution of business actions, and support for commercial programs along with ongoing forecasting for core performance KPIs
- Develop and evaluate key performance indicators across key business stakeholders as the Celonis platform and company strategy evolve
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to evaluate new strategic initiatives and projects
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree, preferably with concentrations in International Business, Finance, or Economics
- Over 5 years of progressively responsible experience in business operations, partner channel management, or related fields, demonstrating proven business acumen. Experience in technology and/or SaaS is preferred
- Exceptional communication skills; capable of establishing credibility, building consensus, and collaborating cross-functionally without direct authority
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and deconstruct complex problems to provide clear and effective recommendations
- Strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity to comprehend drivers and outcomes, with a focus on automating business assets and scalable operations for ongoing visibility and effective controls
- Proficient presentation, communication, and Excel skills with meticulous attention to detail; familiarity with Celonis, Salesforce, Certinia, Workday, and/or other data and BI tools is advantageous
- A collaborative team player with the ability to work cross-functionally in a growing global organization
