ABOUT OUR TEAM
The Strategy & Operations division operates under the Office of the CEO, led by Christian Klein and managed by Sebastian Steinhaeuser. Within this framework, the Corporate Strategy, Portfolio & Transformation department comprises several project teams dedicated to Corporate Strategy & Transformation. These teams are instrumental in defining SAP's strategic direction and executing transformation initiatives in partnership with the CEO and the Executive Board.
We are seeking a Senior Consultant / Director with expertise in strategic capabilities to join one of our Corporate Strategy & Transformation project teams.
YOUR ROLE
As a vital contributor to SAP's corporate strategy and transformation efforts, you will provide strategic counsel to SAP's Executive Board and senior executives on critical decisions. In your role as Senior Consultant / Director (f/m/d), you will lead and manage high-priority, cross-functional, Executive Board-sponsored strategic and transformational initiatives. You will be responsible for establishing these projects and guiding them through the strategy phase, ensuring comprehensive ownership and facilitating a smooth transition from strategy to execution during the transformation phase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all facets of strategy projects, including issue identification, hypothesis formation, qualitative and quantitative analysis, conclusion synthesis, stakeholder consensus building, and strategy development with actionable plans.
- Play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives and transformation projects from inception to completion.
- Manage stakeholder expectations proactively; develop and maintain a robust network across all operational roles to enhance collaboration and execution.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for strategy among SAP's senior leadership and executives.
YOUR PROFILE
- Strong strategic insight into market and macroeconomic trends, technological advancements, and industry dynamics.
- Comprehensive thinker with a solid grasp of SAP's strategy, transformation processes, and associated challenges.
- Proficient in conducting complex qualitative and quantitative analyses across diverse topics and formulating strategic recommendations.
- Experienced in managing multiple intricate programs and projects in collaboration with executive and senior stakeholders both within and outside SAP.
- Proven track record in leading impactful, data-driven initiatives.
- Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills tailored for executive audiences.
- Master's or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, (Computer) Science, or Engineering is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in management consulting, particularly in strategy consulting or in-house consulting, is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
- Self-driven and enthusiastic, with the ability to work efficiently and accurately.
