ABOUT OUR TEAM
The Strategy & Operations division is part of the Office of the CEO, led by Christian Klein and managed by Sebastian Steinhaeuser. Within this framework, the Corporate Strategy, Portfolio & Transformation department comprises several project teams dedicated to Corporate Strategy & Transformation. These teams are instrumental in defining SAP's strategic direction and executing transformative initiatives in partnership with the CEO and Executive Board.
We are seeking a Senior Consultant / Director with expertise in strategic capabilities to join one of our Corporate Strategy & Transformation project teams.
YOUR FUTURE ROLE
As a key contributor to SAP's corporate strategy and transformation efforts, you will provide strategic counsel to SAP's Executive Board and senior leaders on critical decisions. In the role of Senior Consultant / Director (f/m/d), you will lead and manage high-priority, cross-functional strategic and transformational projects sponsored by the Executive Board. In a dynamic team environment, you will initiate and drive these projects, particularly during the strategy phase, and maintain support throughout the transformation phase to ensure comprehensive ownership and swift execution.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee all facets of strategy projects, including issue identification, hypothesis formation, qualitative and quantitative analysis across diverse topics, conclusion synthesis, stakeholder consensus building, and strategy formulation with actionable plans.
- Play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives and transformation projects from inception through to implementation.
- Manage stakeholder expectations proactively; develop and sustain a broad network across all operational roles to facilitate collaboration and execution.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and strategy advocate to SAP's senior leadership and executives.
YOUR PROFILE
- Deep understanding of market dynamics, macroeconomic trends, product innovations, and industry developments.
- Comprehensive thinker with a solid grasp of SAP's strategy, transformation processes, and associated challenges.
- Proficient in conducting advanced qualitative and quantitative analyses across various topics and developing strategic recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple complex programs and projects while collaborating with executive and senior stakeholders both within and outside SAP.
- Proven track record in leading impactful, data-driven initiatives.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills tailored for executive audiences.
- Master's or bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, (Computer) Science, or Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
- Experience in management consulting, particularly in strategy consulting firms or in-house consulting roles, is advantageous.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German is a plus.
- Self-driven and enthusiastic, with the ability to work efficiently and accurately.
