Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end technical solutions for product challenges, ensuring alignment with our target data architecture.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams and staff engineers, promoting technical excellence and best practices.
- Lead and participate in autonomous, cross-functional agile teams, working closely with product owners, engineers, data scientists, and marketing teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Advocate for data operational excellence, identifying and prioritizing investments to enhance data quality and the resilience of data pipelines.
- Deep technical expertise in data, backend, frontend, and mobile engineering, including expertise in database systems, distributed computing, backend development frameworks, mobile application development platforms, and data engineering tools and best practices.
- Systems thinking and ability to understand complex systems at a holistic level, recognizing how different components interact and impact each other.
- Exceptional collaboration skills to work effectively with teams spanning different engineering disciplines, fostering an environment of cooperation, knowledge sharing, and alignment towards common goals.
- Leadership in technical decision-making, balancing trade-offs between engineering disciplines and championing solutions that align with HelloFresh's strategic objectives.
- Effective communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts and ideas clearly and concisely, facilitating productive discussions and collaboration among diverse engineering teams, product managers, and other stakeholders.
