Senior ABAP Developer for Cloud ERP UX Engineering

About the Role:

SAP is seeking a highly skilled Senior ABAP Developer to join our Cloud ERP UX Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and integrating SAP's Cloud ERP User Experience products with S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop innovative solutions for Cloud ERP UX Engineering, leveraging ABAP and other technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to drive technical integration aspects.
  • Work closely with customers and partners to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Develop and maintain software architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality code.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the field, applying this knowledge to improve our products and services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of SAP ABAP experience, with a strong focus on build environment automation, unit testing, OO, SOA, analysis, and debugging.
  • Experience in integrating GPT-3 and GPT-4 with ABAP.
  • Hands-on experience in Application Development & Productization, Application Lifecycle Management, Intelligent Scenario Lifecycle Management, Software Architecture, and model-driven development.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work directly with customers to address their needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Experience with Program, Stakeholder, Customer, and Project management, with a focus on cross-location and cross-team collaboration.
  • Fluent in English, with additional language qualifications appreciated.
