Senior ABAP Developer

About the Role
We are seeking a talented Senior ABAP Developer to join our German software logistics team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing easy-to-use software for our two major tools in development - the Git-enabled central transport system (gCTS) and the continuous integration lifecycle toolset (CILTS).
Key Responsibilities
- Discuss innovative requirements with our SAP internal stakeholders
- Identify the appropriate solution design and implement the solution together with your scrum team members in a collaborative, agile, and international approach
- Work on the full application stack from business object modeling up to the user interface
- Utilize agile development practices to deliver highest quality
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or other related fields
- Solid development expertise in object-oriented languages
- Knowledge and development experience in ABAP is required
- Experience in SAP UI5 is an additional advantage
- Very good English and German skills - verbal and written
- 3+ years of related professional experience as a full stack ABAP software developer
About the Team
Lifecycle management of SAP products (transport, update, patch, upgrade installation) is an essential part for the success of SAP products on the market, both in the classic on-premise business and in the cloud. Customers expect a 'zero-impact' upgrade/update and trouble-free operation.
In the Software Logistic team, we have developed procedures to bring the majority of customers, on-premise and in the cloud, close to 'zero' downtime with automated procedures. These solutions are generally available to SAP customers. We are seeing growing demand from SAP Customers and from internal SAP Business, and therefore, we are looking for experienced developers to join our team to develop new features as well as support continuous improvement.
