Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist Professor

About the Position
We are seeking a highly qualified Professor of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy to join our team at the Carl Remigius Fresenius Education Group. As a Professor, you will be responsible for teaching and researching in the fields of clinical psychology and psychotherapy.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the fields of clinical psychology and psychotherapy in research and teaching in the Bachelor's and Master's programs.
- Take on additional teaching assignments in Bachelor's and Master's programs (e.g., biological psychology, introduction to psychology).
- Supervise and advise students, for example, in the context of project and thesis work.
- Secure cooperation partners for the practical placements of students and expand the regional network in research and teaching.
- Participate in the development and further development of the content and methodological-didactic concept of the study programs and their focal points across locations.
- Publish research in the field of clinical psychology and/or psychotherapy.
- Participate in academic self-governance.
Requirements
- Completed university studies in psychology with a relevant completed doctorate.
- Compliance with the requirements for appointment according to § 68 HessHG in the psychological/psychotherapeutic field.
- Proof of habilitation or equivalent scientific achievement according to § 30 HessHG.
- Proven experience in teaching or pedagogical aptitude (proof by very good teaching evaluations and relevant teaching portfolio).
- Approval as a: psychotherapist or child and youth psychotherapist in a scientifically recognized procedure.
- Experience with third-party funding or proof of successfully acquired third-party funding.
- International visibility, proven by publications, conference contributions, etc.
- Research achievements in at least one mental disorder and its treatment.
- Networking in research and practice at the location and willingness to develop and participate in interdisciplinary research consortia.
- Engagement, joy, and innovation to successfully develop our new university.
