As a Clinical Psychologist at Asklepios Klinik Altona, you will play a vital role in providing essential psychosocial assistance to women facing challenging circumstances during their pregnancies, including high-risk situations, late-term abortions, and the loss of infants. Your expertise will also extend to offering psycho-oncological support to patients diagnosed with cancer and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Psychosocial Support: Deliver compassionate care to women in distressing pregnancy situations.
- Psycho-Oncological Care: Assist oncology patients and their loved ones through emotional and psychological challenges.
- Psychological Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations, crisis interventions, and provide counseling and therapy.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and treatment progress.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with treatment teams during critical situations to ensure comprehensive care.
- Master's degree or equivalent in Psychology.
- Advanced training in psychotherapy or certification as a psychological psychotherapist.
- Experience in a clinical or hospital environment is preferred.
