Supply Chain Operations Director

At Skills Alliance, we are seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain Operations Director to lead our pharmaceutical supply chain efforts. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with our company's overall business goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a strategic supply chain plan that ensures operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and business growth.
- Oversee all aspects of supply chain operations, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions across the supply chain, utilizing best practices and innovative solutions.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness in the supply chain.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions and ensure business continuity.
- Utilize data analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supply chain performance and make informed decisions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other quality assurance protocols.
- Develop and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control.
- Drive sustainability initiatives within the supply chain to minimize environmental impact and promote corporate social responsibility.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale supply chain operations and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data for strategic decision-making.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain best practices, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
- Experience with supply chain software and tools, including ERP systems and data analytics platforms.
