Supply Chain Director

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Supply Chain organization as a Supply Chain Director at Discover International. This role will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end Supply Chain operations for our Pharmaceuticals business unit.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Ensure Supply Chain performance for the related Business Unit, driving efficiency and cost savings through process improvements and strategic planning.
  • Act as the primary Supply Chain point of contact for the Business Unit, fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Production, Manufacturing, Quality) and external partners (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations, regulatory authorities).
  • Identify opportunities for process and inventory enhancements, leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate gaps between demand and production capacities, ensuring seamless supply chain execution.
  • Harmonize supply data from production units to anticipate and prevent bottlenecks, ensuring timely delivery of products.
  • Establish and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for production planning, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Oversee product lifecycle management, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.

**Requirements:**

  • 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain leadership roles, preferably in the Pharmaceuticals and/or Biotech industry.
  • Strong knowledge of supply, demand, and manufacturing processes, with a focus on process optimization and improvement.
  • Detailed understanding of production planning processes, with experience in implementing and managing complex supply chain systems.
  • 4+ years of experience in senior leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving team performance and growth.
  • Strong motivational leadership style, with the ability to identify and develop talent within the team.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making in complex environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage interactions with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and functions.
