Position Overview

Leidos is seeking a skilled Knowledge Management Software Engineer to contribute to our projects in a dynamic and mission-driven environment.

Role Summary: This position is integral to supporting the objectives of a Department of Defense organization. We are looking for proficient engineers in DoD365 and Power Platform to enhance our operational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver daily engineering support focused on improving business processes.
  • Develop and validate both client-side and server-side applications, ensuring accuracy and interoperability in production environments.
  • Engage with end-users to gather requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats, presenting ideas and products professionally.
  • Collaborate in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes teamwork and coordination.
  • Interface with client managers and system users to understand their needs.
  • Showcase expertise in SharePoint 2019 and Power Platform to optimize decision-making processes.
  • Utilize modern client-side technologies for development, including JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and frameworks like React and Svelte.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of common object models such as JSON, CSOM, and REST.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to colleagues.
  • Offer remote support and travel to client sites as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or an associate degree with 7 years, or a major certification with 9 years, or 13 years of specialized experience.
  • Current Microsoft certification – PL-900.
  • Active CompTIA Security + certification (IAT Level II or higher).
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), React, SharePoint API, REST, CSOM, and modern development methodologies.
  • Experience with SharePoint and DoD365 Power Platform.
  • Understanding of Agile software development practices.
  • Must possess an active Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL v3 Foundation certification.
  • Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React, TypeScript, and related technologies.
  • Adaptability to changing operational needs.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense military standards and IT security requirements.
  • Experience in a Microsoft DevOps environment, including Git source control.
  • Working knowledge of MS Dataverse or MS Dynamics CRM.
