Position Overview

Leidos is seeking a Knowledge Management Software Developer based in Stuttgart, Germany. This role requires an active Secret security clearance.

Role Summary: Are you looking to advance your career in a mission-driven environment in Europe? The Leidos Defense Group has established roles throughout Europe supporting critical programs. We are in search of skilled, innovative, and motivated engineers specializing in DoD365 and Power Platform to assist in achieving mission objectives.

The Knowledge Management (KM) and Collaboration division at AFRICOM is focused on creating solutions using agile methodologies that incorporate modern UI/UX principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver daily KM Engineering support to enhance business processes.
  • Develop and validate client-side and server-side applications in a development environment, ensuring accuracy and interoperability in production.
  • Collaborate with end-users to gather requirements, propose solutions, and fulfill ad-hoc requests.
  • Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats, presenting ideas and products professionally.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that necessitates teamwork and coordination.
  • Engage with client managers and system users to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Showcase SharePoint 2019 and Power Platform application development solutions to improve decision-making processes.
  • Utilize modern client-side technologies for development using the SharePoint Framework (SPFx), including JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Bootstrap, React, and Svelte.
  • Possess knowledge of common object models such as JSON, CSOM, and REST.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Offer remote support and travel to customer sites as required.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree with 5 years of experience, AA/AS degree with 7 years, or a major certification with 9 years, or 13 years of specialized experience.
  • Current Microsoft certification – PL-900.
  • Current CompTIA Security + (IAT Level II or higher).
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), React, SharePoint API, REST, CSOM, and modern client-side development practices.
  • Experience with SharePoint and DoD365 Power Platform.
  • Demonstrated understanding of software development using Agile methodologies.
  • Must hold an active Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL v3 – Foundation certification.
  • Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React, TypeScript, Bootstrap, Knockout, and Visual Studio Code IDE.
  • MS PL-900 or equivalent certification.
  • Adaptability to changing circumstances and operational needs.
  • Understanding of Department of Defense military standards.
  • Experience with DoD IT security requirements.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft DevOps environments, Git source control, and agile software development teams.
  • Working knowledge of MS Dataverse or MS Dynamics CRM.
