About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Product Manager to join our team at Döhler Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the product portfolio and lifecycle of our Dry Beverage Systems segment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy the Dry Beverage Systems product line and product portfolio, including business development, supply chain, pricing, innovation, and growth initiatives.
- Manage the global assortment with the product organization and internal stakeholders within our global matrix organization.
- Define a roadmap to drive business and revenue growth in close alignment with the Team Leader Product Management.
- Attend regular meetings with R&D, Marketing, Pricing, and Sales teams to agree on pricing strategy, product portfolio, and supply chain topics.
- Monitor competitors to benchmark our portfolio and prepare a competitive analysis.
- Support the sales team by engaging in customer visits, projects, and briefings to share product and market knowledge.
- Define success metrics and analyze customer feedback and product usage to inform the product roadmap.
- Communicate portfolio updates to stakeholders and ensure in-house training to foster a deeper understanding of the product portfolio and positioning.
Requirements
- Successful track record as a product manager in the food and beverages industry, ideally in a B2B business environment.
- Degree in food technology, general business administration, biotechnology, or a similar qualification.
- Proven track record creating and executing product roadmaps incrementally and sustainably.
- Strong customer mindset with ability to engage directly and honestly with customers and deliver a positive experience.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
- Hands-on mentality and entrepreneurial thinking skills, capable of working well as part of a team and independently.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, manage change, and multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
- Willingness to travel globally approximately 20% of working time.
- Fluent English and German required; other additional languages highly beneficial.
