Job Summary:

Network Engineer Senior - TS/SCI Required

GDIT is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer Senior to join our team in supporting the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network systems, ensuring the security and integrity of our clients' networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement network architectures, including LAN, WAN, and AIN, to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Configure and maintain network hardware and software, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure network availability and reliability.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers, ensuring the development of their skills and expertise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network systems, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange.
  • Develop and implement network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, ensuring the continued relevance and effectiveness of our network systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience or Master's Degree with 10 years of experience.
  • DoD M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract.
  • IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent.
  • Required Computing Environment Certification: minimum of CCNA to start and CCNP within 180 days of your start date.
  • TS/SCI Clearance.
