Cybersecurity Architect for Embedded Systems

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to take on the role of Security Architect for Embedded Software. This position involves a comprehensive analysis of security vulnerabilities and threats associated with both new and existing products, facilitating architectural modifications throughout the product's lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth assessments of security risks and propose architectural enhancements for our embedded systems.
  • Develop and uphold security-focused concepts and requirements for embedded systems, particularly in the realm of industrial communication and automation technologies.
  • Engage collaboratively with product management and system architects to refine and bolster security features in innovative concepts.
  • Establish effective communication channels with security professionals, decision-makers, and external advisors.
  • Collaborate with the Product Security Incident Response Team to address security incidents effectively.
  • Foster a culture of security compliance within the team through training and awareness initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A strong enthusiasm for cybersecurity and a commitment to ongoing professional development in this field.
  • Proven experience in data flow modeling, as well as threat and risk assessment methodologies.
  • A solid understanding of software quality principles and experience in developing secure embedded software.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication technologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills in both German and English.
  • Demonstrated initiative along with strong communication and presentation abilities.
