Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage outage schedules for high-voltage direct current (HVDC) systems, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders to effectively plan and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and upgrades for HVDC systems.
  • Utilize resource management methodologies to allocate workforce, equipment, and materials efficiently for outage operations.
  • Assess outage data and performance indicators to identify areas for enhancement and optimize scheduling processes.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure that outage planning is in sync with operational requirements and strategic goals.
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies relevant to HVDC systems and outage management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Significant experience in outage planning and resource allocation for HVDC systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HVDC technology, maintenance protocols, and scheduling methodologies.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving aptitude, with the ability to interpret technical data and performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and partners.
  • Proficient in outage management software and resource planning applications.
