Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Assistant Creative Lead to join our design team at adidas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the design of market-right products for our BU Football Licensing Apparel division.
About the Role
- Assist in the development of creative solutions for individual products, ensuring they meet the company's visual language and corporate identity guidelines.
- Collaborate with the design team to execute the creative vision for product ranges, working towards defined design languages and strategies.
- Present product ideas and details with clarity in small groups and team meetings, ensuring effective communication with marketing, development, and other stakeholders.
- Support an efficient process and communication flow between design, marketing, and development for all issues regarding ranges and products.
- Visualize ideas for products and ranges with clarity, creating 3D concept representations, 3D assets, and digital product information for accurate development and decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute design work according to the visual language of adidas and given Corporate Identity guidelines.
- Develop creative solutions to individual products, ensuring they meet the company's design languages and strategies.
- Work with the creative process and execute towards given targets and defined design languages and strategies.
- Support product management and development in all issues regarding the realization of products and collections.
Requirements
- Diploma or BA or MA from a college or university, major Design.
- Preferably a practical experience in a design environment.
- Knowledge of fashion product and fashion design/industrial product or industrial design.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- High level of creativity.
- Passion for design.
- Knowledge and use of Macintosh computer design software/systems (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Strong 3D skills and knowledge of virtual tools are required.
Preferred Tools
- Clo3D, Browzwear, VStitcher or similar 3D fashion design tools.
- Rhino, Modo, ICAD Pro, or similar 3D design tools.
