We are seeking a Financial Operations Specialist to become a vital part of our Operations Team. In this position, you will play a key role in managing the Financial Operations across our various entities. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in Operations and cross-functional teams, including People Operations, Growth, and Engineering. Additionally, you will assist the executive team by engaging in special, high-impact projects that span all areas of the organization, ensuring that our daily operations are seamless. Your responsibilities may also include negotiating contracts with vendors or partners and managing treasury functions for the organization.
Ideal candidates will have a passion for understanding the dynamics of growth-phase startups, possess a solution-oriented mindset, be structured, comfortable with numerical data, and exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. This role offers the chance to tackle some of the most intriguing operational challenges specific to the crypto industry within a rapidly growing company.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing accounting processes and monthly operations in collaboration with our accounting partner and financial software.
- Managing team expenditure effectively.
- Tracking and reporting on budgeting to team and executive leadership.
- Leading payroll processes.
- Facilitating multisig operations for our foundation.
- Contributing to vendor negotiations and salary discussions with new team members.
- Incorporating financial reporting into monthly updates for investors.
- Establishing and executing our treasury management strategies.
- Assisting Operations Leadership with special projects across various functions.
- Defining strategic priorities to enhance value within our ecosystem.
