Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician Abroad to join our team at Vandewiele. As a Service Technician Abroad, you will be responsible for installing and providing service for our inspection systems at our customers worldwide.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Install and service our inspection systems at customer premises, working independently and autonomously.
- Collaborate with our internal customer service department to receive assignments, information, and feedback.
- Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise in electronics, automation, and textile industry knowledge.
- Provide exceptional customer service, acting as an ambassador for Vandewiele in a multicultural environment.
- Travel frequently (up to 70% of working hours) to customer sites worldwide, with a high proportion of assignments in the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics or automation.
- Strong analytical skills and a broad technical interest, including electromechanics and weaving.
- Ability to work under pressure, set priorities, and adapt to changing work environments.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in French and German a plus.
