Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Vandewiele. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing and servicing our inspection systems at customer premises worldwide.

Your Role

  • You will work under supervision to install and service new machines, gradually taking on these tasks autonomously.
  • You will report to the internal customer service department on the progress of installations and interventions, as well as suggestions for improvements and customer questions.
  • You will act as an ambassador for the company, representing Vandewiele's values and mission.

Your Profile

  • You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in electronics or automation.
  • You have an analytical mind and a broad technical interest, including electromechanics and weaving.
  • You are stress-resistant and able to set priorities.
  • You are prepared to frequently carry out assignments abroad, with a high proportion of Middle East and Eastern Europe.
  • You adapt easily to an ever-changing work environment and can work sufficiently autonomously.
  • You have a customer-oriented attitude in a multicultural environment.
  • You can express yourself in English and preferably also in French and German.
