Information Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join our team at IONOS. As a Cloud Security Specialist, you will play a key role in protecting our cloud-based applications and infrastructure from cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Security Measures: Design, implement, and maintain robust security measures to safeguard our cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
- Risk Assessment: Automate and conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with software compliance engineers, software engineering trainers, architects, and members of our security organization to integrate best security practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Incident Response: Lead and manage security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and preventive measures.
- Staying Up-to-Date: Stay current with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve our security posture.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations, and support audits and certifications as needed. Maintain and automate comprehensive documentation of security procedures, protocols, and incident reports.
- Engineering Expertise: Proven experience in development, testing, and deployment of high-quality code, preferably in Go.
- Cloud Native Expertise: Experience with cloud-native technologies and concepts.
- Security Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of software security principles and best practices, including experience with threat modeling, security code review, and vulnerability management.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of DSGVO, IT-Grundschutz, C5, ISO 27001, SSDLC, and other relevant standards.
- Language Skills: Fluent German language skills in writing and speaking.
