Accounting Specialist

About the Role:

HORNBACH is a leading international retail company with over 20,000 employees. Due to our rapid growth and increasing complexity in financial management, we are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards.
  • Develop and maintain financial reports and analyses to support business decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Develop and implement financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to management and other stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain financial systems and processes, including SAP S4 HANA.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management and accounting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP FI modules.
  • Fluency in English.
