Role ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking enthusiastic support in the internal procurement sector of Mercedes-Benz. If you possess strong service skills and effective communication abilities, we would like to hear from you. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable insights and contribute actively to our operations.
As a member of a dedicated team, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Requesting and evaluating quotations from suppliers
- Verifying order documentation for compliance with formal, mathematical, and regulatory standards
- Creating purchase requisitions using SAP (MM module) and managing them through to order completion
- Ensuring product availability and tracking the timely delivery of goods
- Maintaining communication with stakeholders via email and phone
- Coordinating procurement efforts with supply management and purchasing departments in case of escalations or discrepancies
- Enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Proficient in German, with a working knowledge of English preferred
- Skilled in MS Office applications
- Demonstrated commitment and teamwork capabilities
- Ability to think flexibly and exhibit strong self-organization skills
- Reliability, openness to new ideas, and a curious mindset
