Lead Engineer in SiC Production (f/m/d)- Facilitate the transition of new SiC products and processes from prototype to full-scale production.
- Enhance the stability of current processes by reducing defects and improving yield and reliability for qualification.
- Innovate alternative processing techniques to broaden process capabilities and enhance manufacturability.
- Develop and manage trend and control charts to detect and rectify process deviations.
- Establish production equipment and provide guidance to production operators when technical assistance is required.
- Collaborate with the process engineering team to design and implement DOE (Design of Experiments) studies.
- Maintain oversight of daily process operations, equipment troubleshooting, and technician mentoring.
- Supervise the release of documentation for assigned tasks and offer technical support to stakeholders in SiC technologies.
- Possess a Master's degree or PhD in a technical field, preferably related to microelectronics or a comparable discipline.
- Have over 5 years of experience in SiC processing, ideally within a SiC wafer fabrication facility, with expertise in at least one of the following areas: Etching and Cleaning, Oxidation and Annealing, Thin Film Deposition, or Implantation.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE) principles.
- Exhibit proficiency with documentation systems and basic data analysis tools.
- Show excellent troubleshooting skills across system, process, and equipment levels, with a hands-on approach and a strong sense of ownership.
- Possess outstanding communication and presentation skills in English; additional proficiency in German and/or Chinese is a plus.
- Be a strategic thinker with a well-organized, independent work style.
- Be an effective team player in a multicultural environment.
- Maintain a proactive attitude with a willingness to extend beyond the comfort zone and embrace additional responsibilities.
